Leigh Harper and Anne Parker

I am Leigh Harper, the youngest twin! I work in the equine publishing industry by day and my own websites by night and love every second of it. I share a little farm with my twin sister where we have our four barrel racing horses, two Australian Shepherds and one barn cat. I live a life of go, go, go and wouldn’t have it any other way! I stay busy working, competing on my barrel horses, being a gym rat and cooking healthy dishes. That being said, my mother is the famous Southern Lady Cooks so I am always ready to chow down on her amazing southern food. I grew up eating great southern food prepared by my amazing Grandmother who was from Mississippi and my Mom who can cook anything. Life as a child was magical and life as an adult is the exact same way!

I am Anne Parker and I honestly believe growing up in a Southern family was a huge blessing. I loved everything about it and still do. I was fortunate enough to have a childhood that consisted of fields that go on for days, lighting bugs to guide us home, and something amazing to always eat. As a grown up my days stay very busy as the CEO of our family publishing company. I also share a cute farm with my twin sister and all of our animals, which keeps us very busy. However we LOVE to be busy so this lifestyle suits us great, but we never miss a chance to sit back and count our blessings!

For the banana muffins or banana bread are the bananas suppose to be ripe?

Hi Cecilia, yes they should be ripe. If they aren’t you can use a mixer or blender to mix everything up, it will make it easier. Thanks!
